The collection he has is beautiful and the explanations he provided made us more appreciative of the craft. Great customer service overall and will definitely come back next time when we are in Boston.
I have had great experiences here in the past but today, I am left shocked by the rude demeanor of the staff (dismissive, rude, eye rolling at basic questions). No matter how important you think your job is, if you are an arts organization participating in Open Studios or another community arts event, it is imperative that the community be treated with respect and welcomed. The behavior I witnessed today was not only embarrassing to me as an artist, it is harmful to every working artist in Boston. That sort of nastiness gives the community the impression that you do not need them. Let's face it, you do. Scaring potential patrons with that kind of behavior helps no one. I'm still sort of shocked. I won't be sending contacts to this location again. What a shame. Clean up your customer service approach or change staffing ASAP.
