Delicious pastries and good coffee. Crowded at all times! Mornings are a younger crowd, afternoons are a considerably older crowd. Interesting!
The sticky bun was awesome. I did get a piece of pecan shell on the last bite.
I had the breakfast sandwich with bacon. Very tasty, but I wish it had just a little less dijonaise. It was great at first, but after a few bites, it was too strong and took away from the egg souffle. If there is a next time, I'll ask for the sauce on the side and just add a little.
This place sucks. Long wait times, poor ordering system and the owner just doesn't care about customer service. She may be highly rated for her cuisine but I guess she overlooked an important aspect of running a restaurant. Keeping customer happy.
Excellent quality baked goods. Friendly staff, even when we had six 7 year olds trying to decide what to order and then changing their minds. Moderately busy on a Saturday afternoon. Relaxed enough to bring kids to after a trip to the Children's Museum, without feeling like you're imposing on the other people there.
The food is amazing!! The best tomato/fennel soup anywhere!! Fresh roasted turkey with Swiss and Cole slaw so good! Known for their delectable pastries! Nutmeg cupcakes with vanilla frosting unbelievable! Impressed with their coffee too!! A must stop after the children's museum every time...yes please?!
Overall, it was really great and deserved 5 stars.
Oh wait, she changes 50 cents for grilling your sandwich. Seriously! Bye bye Flour I am never coming back though I did for a year or so.
