I have been a patient of Dr. Douglas Ross for over 30 years. He started off as my Thyroid Dr. and became my PCP. He is the best Dr. I have ever had in my entire life and he goes above and beyond his call of duty. He will contact patients while he's away if they have a problem, he calls on the weekends to check in, you will never get the attention from anyone that Dr. Ross has given me and all his patients. He explains until you understand and he has the most patience even when I drive him crazy, he always says with a smile that it's never a bother he makes you feel like you're his only patient but unfortunately he wont be doing primary care any longer and to show how caring this man is he gave his patients 2 years advance notice about not continuing to do Primary Care just Thyroid so we could adjust a little better and after seeing how for 30 years he works 7 days a week he answers all calls and e-mails that as sad as I am not to have him all the time I'm so happy that he can enjoy his life a little bit instead of being with patients every day of his medical career. He was the only Dr. that I was completey truthful with no matter what it was and he always had faith in me no matter what and because of this man I have become a much better person in my life and I hope he knows what a difference he made in my life, even though he wasn't my therapist it's because of him I pulled myself out of depression and so many things because he always believed and trusted me and it made me want to be a better person. I will see him for my Thyroid once in awhile but I'm hoping all his other Primary patients are as happy as I am that he will have this time in his life to enjoy himself and not worry about all of us so much, if anyone needs a Thyroid Dr. he's your man, not only do I trust him with my life I would trust him with everyone's life that I care about.
