It's a really nice place to spend an afternoon. There are 2 entrances - one of them leads to the Bates Reading room which is beautiful.
Fun and quiet reading time. Dvd, books for children to check out. Good customer service. Very spacious. My kids also like computer time.
This library is closed until 2020. Google staff, please update this.
I like the location but the professionalism is very poor!!!!!! The front desk staff conversations were inappropriate and loud. I hope when they reopen they open with staff or with better professional approach. I wasnt able to complete any work and I was highly frustrated about that.
I take visitors to Boston here regularly. It's a beautiful library and adorned with classic artwork. This is the sort of place that inspires learning and reading. The location is central and the library itself is very inviting.
