This is one of the Best medical centers in the world! I have had the best experiences here, from common examinations to tricky diagnosis', biopsy and procedures, always top notch. Both the staff and the affiliated doctors are the most skilled and knowledgeable you can find anywhere. I don't know how anyone can submit a poor review, but I imagine there are unhappy people everywhere. I am very pleased with the cutting edge medical service at this teaching hospital. If you want to stay ALIVE stay the hell away from this place. I have asthma and a heart problem; came in for chest problems and breathing difficulties. At this point, I was better off with the cast of Greys Anatomy and Meredith G herself! They not only sent me home without performing ANY tests, but they gave me a BUS pass for -1 weather travels. $2.75 pass to be exact. I came by ambulance, I’m alone, having breathing problems, and y’all send me home on the BUS? LAST time I’ll EVER come here .. last time I came with inflamed tonsils - was sent home with ibuprofen PILLS .. same night went into Cardiac Arrest. NEVER AGAIN. GO TO BRIGHAM AND WOMENS ! At LEAST, they’ll test you!
The facilities are state of the art. And of course very well maintained. Excellent! Feel so lucky having access to of one of the best facilities in the world.
Staff here is amazing. Especially the Moakley building and the center for digestive disorders. Doctors and nurses alike.
Easily the worst hospital in ALL of Boston. The 6 East floor has to be the poorest quality of care that any medical facility can give. Nurses are always angry, rude, complaining in the corners of hallways, on their phones in corners viewing social media, don't like to be bothered, etc. My husband is on immunosuppressants and his nurse was tending to a patient on contact precautions. The nurse came into my husbands room with the contact precautions gear on and removed it in his room!!!! Anyone who works in the medical field will tell you how careless and ridiculous that is (cross contamination). If you are looking for care somewhere, I suggest going as far away from this hospital as possible!!!
