The beef was cooked to perfection! Loved it

I had dinner in late June for my birthday. It was a wonderful experience. The wait staff was prompt, friendly, and courteous. The food was delicious, a good temperature, and served in a very pleasant presentation.

My family and I dined at Clink last night for the Liberty's Halloween dinner and party. After finishing our meal our waiter asked if we wanted to join the party outside in the lobby. He started to give us wristbands and explain the details. To confirm, we asked if there was an added cost. Oh yes in fact there was! $62/per person to join the party in the lobby. We had just spent $500 on dinner but they told us we still needed to pay the $62/per person (funny how they left that detail out until the end). When we said we would just finish our drinks and leave a host approached my family and said we would have to be escorted out of the hotel by staff and security and we could not finish our drinks in the lobby. They continued to stalk and harass us (and call in backup) as we tried to finish our last few gulps of our wine (at $14/glass) in the lobby as we prepared to leave. They threatened to put us in handcuffs if we did not leave immediately. Keep in mind I was there with my sister, mother and two significant others (we are not drunk kids). While their entire staff harassed us around the lobby, other guests from the restaurant were able to leave at their leisure, men in police costumes with fake guns loitered but yet, they decided to focus their time on my family. We have spent THOUSANDS of dollars at the Liberty over the years (we are locals) from yappy hours, to the bar, to dinner, to the summer dinner series in the Yard. My sister is a major social media influencer in Boston and is always being asked by the Liberty marketing department to attend various events. Well NO MORE! We will NEVER EVER be back! My family and I have never been mistreated and harassed so poorly by anyone. And you say you are a luxury hotel?! I've been treated better by staff at the Howard Johnson! Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to be treated like a third class citizen!! Try the Fairmont Copley or the Lenox if you are looking for a true upscale dining and hospitality experience.

I had dinner there again on Saturday evening 7/9 with my family who was visiting. They felt it was a high point in their stay. Everyone was very pleased with the wine selection and their meal. We had a variety of meals - everyone really enjoyed the food. Our waiter was a very pleasant gentleman who was very pleasant and welcoming. He paid great attention to detail. He was obviously a pleasant person, who enjoyed working at the Clink. Thank you for a very enriching and rewarding experience. I have already recommended it to several people. I'd give the Clink "FULL STARS"!

Honestly, one of the best crab cake Benedict’s I’ve ever had. The ambiance was intriguing. The service was great and the food was exquisite! Highly recommend!

We swung by for a quick lunch today and had a terrible experience overall. That the service in general was pathetic would be an understatement. We never got an app we ordered, were made to wait a long time for our s'wiches and worst of all, my wife, who happens to be vegetarian, found a piece of bacon in her side of sweet potato fries. That last one is just plain unacceptable for a restaurant in a hotel like this. This was by far the worst experience we have had at a 'Luxury Collection' property having stayed and dined at multiple ones all over the world. We are definitely not going back here which is quite a shame because we really used to like it.
