I lived in France for years, and this place is the real deal. The pastries are true to classic form, but not entirely.... and that is a good thing. The pastry chef takes artistic license in a few cases, such as the almond croissant, while staying true to the classics.
This place is so stinkin cute. One of my all time favorite dessert places in Boston. Definitely worth a second to drop and and instantly be convinced to buy more than your stomach can handle.
I love their macaroons! Great cofffee too. Just found this spot, but I plan to personally tatse test all of their pastries.
Regret nothing.
All in all, you will not find a better croissant in Boston, and while it isn't quite like being back in the 10ème, it is certainly nostalgia inducing.
This really is ideal. He adds American expertise to the cookies and brownies which are not that good in France, in my opinion.
Best hot chocolate I have ever had. The blueberry muffin is also delicious.
This is a review of their coffee, not baked goods. Amazing coffee? I guess it is personal taste. I absolutely disliked their cold-brew coffee. They were willing to replace it with iced Americano, which was nice. However, the iced Americano was pretty bad too. I ended up throwing it out after a couple of sips. I am willing to try their baked goods, but NEVER their coffee.
