Not really helpful when it comes to help their residents. I legally parked my car before I went on vacation, but it unfairly got towed by construction people the next day. I came for a hearing the day I came back to Boston but I could not have one because I didn't have the original ticket (the tow company said the wind blew it). I even had the police report with the ticket# in it, but they didn't let me had a hearing. They said they wanted the original ticket because it was not yet in their system. It has been now 7 days since my visit to the city and the ticket is still not in their system. I am stuck and no where to contest for being innocent in this city.

i'm not from the area and they gave me a really stupid parking ticket for a really small parking mistake that wasn't in the way of anyone, so yeah, duh, of course I hate them. who doesn't?

Literally the rudest customer service agent I have ever dealt with. I was wrongfully given a ticket, called to have it resolved and the woman wouldn't let me speak, talked over me the entire time and gave me the biggest attitude. Way to go union city empolyee!!!

I am from Maryland, and it is absolutely impossible to pay your parking ticket if you no longer have physical access to the ticket. You can only look up parking tickets online if you are from Mass. I tried calling, and the automated response told me I can only pay in person. I refuse to pay a ridiculous amount of late fees for something I cannot control. Also, who tickets someone THEN TOWS THEM. Way to add insult to injury there. Boston seems to be obsessed with giving parking tickets.

If I could give it 0, I would. Meter maids have to fill their monthly quotas so they give out the most ludicrous tickets whenever they can. I posted a pic of my car with a couple inches of my back bumper in the no stop zone, while the other 98% was in the 2 hour spot. I was only parked that close because the car in front was taking up two spots.Thought I would be okay since only a few inches were outside, but got slapped with a $75 ticket for it. If anyone tells you the monthly quota isn't a thing, they're lying to you. I don't know who is hated by society more, tow truck drivers or meter maids...

So glad you feel empowered to talk to fellow city residents that meter maids are trying to rip off. Thank God our city has no choice but to hire and never fire rude ass people like you!
