I loved loved loved this place. All of their food is great, healthy, antibiotic free, and greatly priced. Their desserts are as well, great!
I love this place. The chunky beef pie is my favorite, it is as good if not better than one's I've had back in Sydney, Australia. I always bump into other Australians there & end up having a good chat, so that adds to the atmosphere as well. It gives me a sense of nostalgia.
Conveniently located at the Children's Museum, this Au Bon Pain also has children's meals. But, things are pricey and the food for kids is pretty dismal. The mac&cheese was so overcooked and mushy my daughter refused to eat it. Considering her meal cost my about $8, it's annoying. Salads are fresh and made-to-order sandwiches good as well. During lunch this place is very busy and it's not always possible to find a seat inside.
If I could give a zero star I would here are the many reasons why. One over weight manager too busy to ask what I want looked at me 4 times with nor even a hi. Second some worker janitor African American worker yelled at my 1 year old for falling on a WET floor. With NO wet floor sign plus who washes a floor while the place is still OPEN. Food was disgusting. Place is flight woman washing floor with black water my 1 year old who fell didn't even get asked if she was ok.
Don't order from here unless you want to test your patience. It took 40 mins to get my two cold sandwiches. Very poor management. Employees don't know what they are doing.
