We were visiting from Texas, so we know hospitality. On the night we were there we were greeted immediately, served immediately and constantly checked on. Maybe it was a slow night, but we enjoyed ourselves and thought the service was great.
On the food side the fish and chips is a safe bet. Perfectly executed.
I don't ever give a 1 lightly, with that being said, we just received the worst service I have ever experienced. We went here to try something new after the BC/UConn game at Fenway. After waiting for about 15 minutes for a server, with NO ONE coming (Not even to wipe down our dirty table), we went to the bar to order drinks, only to be met by a rude bartender who felt as though we were an inconvenience to him as we were sitting at a bar table and we didn't wait long enough for a server. Needless to say we were there for an hour and a half... And never saw a server at our table. We had to wait an hour to get water from another bartender who gave us warm water and equally as rude. All we have to say is there are other bars and pubs that are 1000% better than this and don't recommend ever going there.
Last few times I've gone has been during the week and it's great. Love the colors and settings it has from the bar to very comfortable booths. Appetizers are great and drinks as well. Recommend this to anyone who is either visiting Boston or in the area.
Most urban experience in the shadow of Fenway. Excellent sangria (I like Luis'), and pretty spot-on martinis.

Worst bar in all of Boston. Service is god awful. Food is a 2 out of 5 at best. Avoid this place like the plague.
