Didn't actually eat here, just stopped at the gift shop and then walked around looking at the memorabilia. Lovely collection, even had a room devoted specifically to Boston-area musicians. At least 3 employees went out of their way to improve our experience and make conversation.
Was in by myself after a particularly grueling walk from the Convention Center. I was seated faster at this location than any other Hard Rock I've been too. My server was wonderful, and the manager was extremely conscientious. I was happy to let her know that my issues were all on myself.
Walked in to the hard rock Boston tonight for drinks and apps, when our group of 4 walked in There were only a handfull of tables sat. We were told that the wait was 30-45 min in a mostly empty restaurant!! Being told that there was an event going on and they pulled the waitresses out of the restaurant to go provide services at that event. In my 7 years of food service I have never heard of such a thing especially on a Saturday night. Poor planning was involved here. After sitting for a half an hour waiting in an empty restaurant and 4 managers standing around 10 parties that turned around and walked out we finally got sat at one of the many empty tables. Not really worth the wait... the food has gone way down hill and the restaurant is barely surviving on the past reputation. I can honestly say that I won't be returning any time soon
Lovely location. Live music on the patio. Large portions for those who worry about such things.
Sincerely, this is my first time in a Hard Rock Cafe and I'm totally disappointed, I just asked for 2 cocktails and an entree and that was good but the waiter had a really bad and not helpful attitude, even when we ask because was very cold into the place, he had an attitude like "I don't care". The total in the account was 40 dollars and I decided to give a tip for 6 dollars and the waiter was with an upset face because of that. I felt really bad about the service, my expectations were unrealistic.
We stopped in for a drink at the bar (Pomegranate Mule - which was very good) but we did not try the food. The atmosphere was really fun and the memorabilia was impressive! They had a suit of Steven Tyler's, guitars from Joe Perry and Jerry Garcia, a corset worn by Madonna and pages out of her daily planner from the early 80's. The only drawback was the gift shop was tiny and very crowded. We will definitely go back!
