There are no words to describe how delicious my caprese pizza was... OMG
I had a couple piece of pizza for $8 both, with no drink. And they charged me $17.65 on my credit card. Be careful customer, you should always double check with your money.
Used to come here often given how it neighbored my apartment. But sadly, my trips here have diminished it. Which is a shame to, considering how great Sal's is. Well, actually, it's good, solid, not fantastic. Sal's is your traditional jumbo slice to-go pizzeria. A little pricey, but the slices are great. 2 will do the job, maybe 3 if you're absolutely starving. Lots of different toppings, and great variety of pies. You can tell the manager is very friendly with the locals, but treats the outsiders or customers (who make a minuscule ruckus) with a lot of disrespect. But i guess that's fine, considering the location, I assume the fella deals with tons of disturbances.
Overall, good stuff here, certainly a go-to for a quick slice.
We are from a small town in Ohio and we were walking through the park and decided to go there. I thought it would just be like a pizza restaurant but this was some of the best pizza I’ve had
The pizza slices are huge, one is actually equal to two. I've tried the tomato basil pizza and another one with a balsamic glaze, both were delicious. The crust is crisp and light. Definitely in my list of top takeout places. The customer service is just okay, didn't seem too interested in telling me what was on the pizza slices (there are no labels).
