Lovely atmosphere for afternoon tea and great service! My partner in crime enjoyed the experience as much as I did, where the scones, desserts, and tea sandwiches were savored as we sipped the quality tea. We had gone to Mem Tea Imports before and enjoyed their tea, and it didn't disappoint in this setting. The waiters explained when they served the tea and snacks, and refilled our teapots as needed. The only complaint that we might have is that the price is steep compared to other places we've been to for afternoon tea for just what you get, but still lovely. Would go again if the opportunity arises.

Love this place! They source their The Courtyard Restaurant, which is legit. I came here for my third breakfast but hey, I worked out so that's okay, right? Thanks ladies for the ice cream. Clean, spacious, and they helped me pack it since I was only able to eat half of my gorgeous ice cream.

I had my bridal tea shower at the Courtyard restaurant, at the Boston Public Library on March 25, 2017. My sister, who lives in Florida, worked with Cody (the event coordinator) to plan this special day for me. Cody allowed flower arrangements to be brought in, as well as favors for the guests to be placed on the table. One side of the restaurant was designated to the bridal shower, which felt like our own private area. When I arrived, I could not have been more impressed with they way everything turned out. Cody and the staff were amazing. They were very personable, friendly, and accommodating. One of the guests has a food allergy and they were able to accommodate changes immediately. I even had my own special chair! Being the bride to be, I could not have felt more special. I would highly recommend the Courtyard restaurant at the Boston Public Library, and kudos to a first class staff! Well done!

We had high tea here for a birthday celebration. We sat by the huge windows overlooking the courtyard and it was just an awesome experience. The sandwiches and pastries were super fresh and very very good. The scones, cream and lemon curd were amazing. Service was awesome as well. Highly recommended even though it is slightly expensive.

Loved this place! Great atmosphere, very picturesque; worth getting dressed up for. You get a personal teapot along with finger sandwiches, desserts, scones and jams for $39 a person. The servers were extremely nice. Very short walk from the Copley T stop. I wouldn't suggest driving there, limited street parking. I'll definitely be going back.
