Male employees are always helpful and friendly. Half of the female cashiers treat you with contempt...busy talking to other workers, never look you in the face except to give you an annoyed look. Don't know if because I'm white or they're just rude.
They do have a great and well staffed butcher shop/meat department !
I used to go here and hadn't for a while. Stopped in to grab some lunch on break. It's so nice inside after the renovations they did and the staff is truly pleasant. Greeted upon entry. Very attentive. Got a sandwich from the deli counter. They made it fresh. And it tasted great! Seemed to have a great selection of products and very fresh produce. I will definitely start doing my food shopping here again.
Prices for most things are 35 to 50% higher than larger grocery stores.
I love this supermarket. It's in walking distance from my job. They also have a deli there and they prepare breakfast sandwiches and lunch. If you want catering, they also do that as well. They also have a butcher area in the back with fresh meats and poultry
