A bit dirty and run down but great prices, they're in the process of renovating
A good source for many Chinese ingredients including food and sauces in cans and jars, dried ingredients, and fresh vegetables, fish, and meat. The store is not clean, smells of rotten vegetables, and has sections which are half-abandoned, but remains an economical and useful resource. NOT where I would buy salad material or fish to eat raw, however!
If you visit there by chance, examine the each and every food properly. The chances are high that you will get rotten food, and get sick later.
Top of all the staffs are disgustingly ignorant. Sometimes they don't have cart, sometime plastic bags. And, the ladies on the check out, my god, so rude. No courtesy at all.
I wonder how such a dirty, mismanaged, reckless and completely unhygienic food selling market exists in the US?
If you think that I am just saying check the pics I uploaded with this review. You wi get better food for a same price on others stores.
Large Asian grocery store with products from many countries and cultures in the region. Large Chinese, Japanese and Thai sections in particular. However, the store feels dirty and disorganized and the word, dim lighting further adds to the discomfort. Make it nicer and people would want to shop here, instead of just coming because they have to. Also a fair selection of Asian home and kitchen products.
Great local independent grocer. Wide variety of Asian foods, not just Chinese.
They used to very good seller of groceries, but not now. They sell rotten and unhygienic foods. For last couple of times, when I bought wrapped veggies, I discovered damaged, fungus grown and and rotten ones hidden inside the good ones.
