Avoid if you're in the 30 and up range - reminded me of the frat parties in college. If you're looking for the sticky floor and getting smashed scene, then this place has you covered.

I never usually write bad reviews, but I felt this one was necessary. I have been to Howl at the Moon a million times and have always had so much fun. When my friends convinced me to make our way downstairs, we usually only stayed a bit longer until we decided it was late and time to leave. The bar service was always good and music was fun. Last NYE, however, I encountered some of the WORST customer service and behavior I have ever witnessed from an adult, at Down. Not sure who the guy was but he was bald and middle aged and definitely had some type of complex. Myself and a few random girls were lined up outside the restroom because the line was so long. I saw this man interacting with a bouncer like he was instructing him and then he made his way over to myself and the other women. Right away he got in our faces, and SCREAMED at us to move. I was still very much sober at this point and had paid a good amount for a ticket to be there, so needless to say I was upset. I replied, "okay, sorry but there is no room to move" to which he replied by continuing to scream at us all and call us idiots. I gave him a look and walked away. I asked a very sweet female bartender who I could speak to about an issue to which she instructed me to speak to the young bouncer near the bathroom. I told him about my experience and he was obviously trying to dodge my questions about who this man was and said I must be making a mistake. The man who screamed at us absolutely worked there, I could tell by his attire and his previous interactions with the staff. I am a grown women, I am respectful, considerate, and mature. I would NEVER disrespect anyone the way this man disrespected his customers. I have not returned to Down since, and when I go to Howl I always stay upstairs because the staff is always so pleasant and polite.
