While the atmosphere superb, The Service and The Fish & Chips however was another matter. If I (a person who hardley ever adds salt to anything) have to add salt, you've completely underseasoned it. While the fish itself was cooked to perfection it lacked seasoning of any kind, and the batter was just as bland. I've had a better plate of Fish & Chips for $10 let alone the $20 here. Our server disappeared after the food came out and left us with empty beverages for over 15 minutes. Another server in the same section walked passed us 5 times and said nothing.
Place is ran by an incompetent staff. Staff was rude and unwelcoming. Would not spend my money at this bar. There are much better options to visit in Boston.
Great service. Awesome lobster guac. Cold beer. Great patio for people watching!
Tourist Trap beware! Asked for food to go because the family was split in deciding where to eat for lunch. Waited 30 minutes for fish and chips. After getting them, I met my wife downstairs in the bar area at a table to eat. She brought a chowder from next door. We were promptly asked to leave because she had a cup from the place next door. The customer experience was horrible. The fish and chips were absolutely bland. Wouldn't ever return. Go to the oyster bar two doors down.
Nice service, quick seating, clean. Reasonably priced for the area. Shepard's pie could use some more mashed potatoes. Fish and chips we're good, abnormally large piece of fish!
