Maybe we will go there again if they actually acknowledge our presence.
Been going here for years. Above average beer selection, decent food, and normally low crowds. Warning: this is evidently a University of Nebraska bar for college football. Avoid this place during Nebraska games.
Food was fantastic, definitely deserved the extra star. However, the service was inexcusable. After looking at our menus for 25 minutes I had to stop one of the staff and ask if we can place our order. Other people who came in after us got their food and drink before us. It seemed as if the staff didn't care.
Nice place before a game, not as crowded as the other street, less expensive, great food. Nice pub atmosphere. Don't let the outside scare you off
Unlike others, the service was the high point of the meal. Chicken wings had been frozen with a very noticeable freezer burn taste. When you can taste it through the Buffalo sauce, it's pretty noticeable. Turkey tips were not of high quality and had that "crunchy" texture that comes from too many growth hormones. Salad was pretty good. Again, service was good and nice atmosphere. The owner needs to stop going cheap on food quality.
It’s not bad but it’s not great. It’s nice to come here before a game because it isn’t insanely packed but it is busy. The beer and spirits menus is great. Food is subpar and the seduced is fair. This is considering that it is a bruins night. Overall, at least worth checking out.
