Ambience is excellent on the second floor, dark wood, cool view. Food is just ok. We had the pork shoulder with bourbon glazed pears and it was fine, but it was fairly expensive for fine. This was the most expensive and least impressive meal we had in the south end over the last 5 days.
It was incredibly easy to get a reservation using open table. The waitstaff was sub par. They would not split our check – this was not cool as we were all traveling for business and need to submit individual reimbursement receipts. Upon exiting, they could not identify our checked coats. I did not reciew the menu ahead of time; rather, I booked a reservation out of extreme hunger the google rating, and availability. The menu is largely French inspired with a local food flare - everything I ordered (three items from the appetizer menu and a dessert) was well balanced in flavor. I’d say overpriced for the flavor.
On the first floor is the Tavern—a casual but sophisticated menu and atmosphere, with a 25-seat bar and high top and banquette seating area, warmed by a beautiful four-sided fireplace. A massive wrought iron staircase connects the energy of the first floor with the Dining Room on the second floor.
Fun and cozy, but food is way overpriced.

Relaxing atmosphere and decent food. Friendly service too! Great for big groups.
