Went there for drinks and the hot chocolate flight. Highly recommend for that. Very nice cocktails, and the boozy hot chocolate is delicious, though I probably would just stick with the flight
Tables were full but the downstairs was seat yourself and same menu. Never had a bad meal here! Breakfast burrito was great.
The drinks and food in the "Library Bar" were outstanding. What wasn't outstanding was being pressured to leave or be moved to another room, due to a private event starting. Before being seated, we should have been made aware of the time limits. We were asked to leave by some random guy who apparently was hosting the party. Would recommend many other places on Newbury Street over this place.
The Met felt tired when we tried it this past weekend. We ate in the Library. We had a DC burger and a Modern Ceasar with steak. The food wasn't the tastiest we've had and the steak was rather fatty. We were also served flat sodas (twice). Unfortunately on the Saturday we were there, the restrooms were also messy and wet. Maybe we just got a bad weekend experience, but overall I'd rate the food a C+ and the atmosphere a B-.
Went to stop in quick for nachos before an event. Specifically asked the waitress Anna for no onions. Nachos came out with red onions in it. Expressed concern with Anna, who stated she would get a new order. Told her we would just eat around them and we were in a rush. At the end were charged for nachos with no discount minus the fact that there were clearly red onions on it. Expressed to Anna our disappointment to which she stated "well I would have taken them off had you ordered a new one. You are the whole thing". So rude. First experience in Boston, would not recommend to anyone
