Great sports bar literally right next to Fenway park! Tons of tvs, tons of beers to choose from.
This is good restaurant for both a quick meal and an extend stay to watch a football game. Their sandwiches are very good, especially the Reuben. They also have a roof deck, although I have not been up there so I can't speak to it. Overall this is a good restaurant to eat at if you are in the area.
Finally: I found a good BBQ place in MA. I was beginning to lose hope. Got the beef ribs, mac n cheese and cornbread, all of which were great. Side note: the nice part about ordering BBQ to go is being able to go full caveman mode (gnawing the bones, snapping them in half to get the marrow, getting sauce in your beard/face/hair) without terrifying the locals. And the sauce is excellent.
I went to this place last night because my best friend recommended it through word of mouth and I could not be any more disappointed. I should've turned around immediately because the hostess was the least friendly person I've met as a hostess. The waitress rarely came over to our table, I never got a refill on my drink, she only checked up on us once and we waited so long to get the bill that we just handed our cards as soon as we saw her to get out ASAP. The place was NOT busy at ALL and there were plenty of people doing NOTHING. It looked like the manager wasn't there because there were at least 3 people doing the bare minimum. She also charged the orders on the wrong cards but since we're good friends we didn't care at this point we just wanted to leave this place. Don't go there unless you want to get angry on purpose, otherwise you'll have a ball. I'd give no stars but it won't let me.
This place has gone down hill. Sat down about 15m after the start of a Pats game. The place was about 40% filled. It took about 10m before we were greeted at our high top. The food was mediocre at best. I finished my cider...and we left about 30m later. During that time the waitress never asked if I wanted another water or cider.
