Tatte is a never-fails-to-satisfy bakery. The coffee is good and the sandwiches and pastries are great. Everything i have tried at any of their shops (i have been in total maybe 5 times in the span of 2 months) was great.

We went there for a hockey game. Quite disappointed with the crowds. Not a place to visit with children. You can't avoid obsenities around you. We'd love to see more hockey matches as hockey fans, but we won't go there again.

Founder Tzurit Or started Tatte Bakery & Café in 2007, baking 20 hours a day in her home kitchen and selling her delicious creations to Boston farmers’ markets. After only one summer, Tatte expanded to its first brick-and-mortar bakery in Brookline, Massachusetts. When she opened her very first location she wanted it to feel welcoming, as if someone was hugging you, a home away from home. She has since opened additional Tatte cafes but the aim has always remained the same; each Tatte has its own individual sense of identity, feel and style but they all stay true to the original spirit – to what Tatte is all about.

My boyfriend and I stopped in for a snack after walking around Boston and were amazed at how busy it was! But when we walked in, it made perfect sense to us. There were so many pastry options as well as small items to order, it all looked so delicious. The line went quickly even though it was crowded and the service was so friendly. There was no seating inside or out, however my boyfriend and I just kept walking with our snacks. The prices were reasonable as well with a baked good anywhere from $2-$5. Highly recommended.

Good coffee, good pastries, but what I like most about this place is how cozy this place is. That is, if you can find a seat. This place is really busy and there’s a constant influx of people coming in so you’re almost guaranteed to stand in line. Once you figure out the seating dilemma you’re set.
