Here is a hint if you want an amazing experience (e.g. with a date) - Go just before or after rush hour. The place is small and fills up quickly.
A big selection of traditional dim sum plates including perfect fresh dumplings. Big shared tables in a cozy hole-in-the-wall. Very economical for a good meal.
Overall is a pretty good place to eat dim sum. They keep the place very clean, our server was very quite but helpful. I will definitely come back for more.
One of the better dim sum eats in Boston. Always a wait. The place is small. You have the option to place your name on a list. Greeter will call both inside and outside the restaurant. If you are not there your spot will be immediately gobbled up.
This place is pretty small, so rather than bringing carts around to you they'll have you fill out an order slip and then bring the food to your table when it's ready. If your group is small you may be asked to sit at a table with other parties. The scallion pancake and fried shrimp balls were outstanding. The pan fried pork dumplings were merely average. I would certainly come here again but there are so many other places in the area to try out that it might be a while before I go back.
The best dimsum place in Boston. Period. The waitstaff is quite businesslike, but are extremely attentive and efficient. We are regulars here, and the food has been consistently great.
