Have been calling them several times each day, for a week now. Tried all the different key options in the automated phone directory they have. NO ONE ANSWER.
That said - when I went in to renew my passport I was in and out in 10 minutes - with a new passport right on the spot.
Mail in passport renewal works excelled ! I mailed it Monday and got it back on Friday!! Thank you!!
Your only real option is to mail in documents. No one ever picks up the phone or returns voice mail or email. Obviously the staff has no interest in providing any type of service to anyone.
These guys won't answer phones or emails, and their reception hours are limited to 2 hours a day.
Waited for more than 45 minutes just to sign a documents in the presence of the Consul because he was in a meeting scheduled for the same time as ours, and when we said we'll reschedule and leave it was received by a very bad attitude and annoying talk-back.
One should not expect to wait for an appointment (that takes 5 minutes) for an hour of your day!
