If you need a schengen visa try another consulate. I got my visa and I am never going back to this consulate. The service is really bad, read the reviews.

This consulate is a total mess from their website to their office, and they very rude.

I'll take off one star for the visa appointment scheduling process. You basically need to check their website daily in order to find an available slot (typically there aren't any). Apart from that, our experience was very good. The folks working there were polite and professional, they got through reviewing our paperwork within an hour (for 4 of us) and we didn't have any issues.

I had an appointment for 9:30 am, and I waited until 12 o' clock. When it got to my turn the lady did not ask me for anything she just yelled at me because in their website they stated that you cannot apply for a visa more than 90 days or less than 16 days before your traveling day ( and it was 80 days until my traveling day). When I said to her that I read the policy and it was 80 days until my travelling day ( and she did the math) she didn't apologize for her attitude, and she told me that I had to wait over a month before getting my visa and passport back because it was to soon to print the visa.

Awful service. Never managed to get the right information over the phone and when you get there they are like a prison door, not nice and certainly not ready to help you. Which by the way people is YOUR MAIN WORK. Even more you loose money as the money order they had you prepare for the appointment is not refundable !!! The consul should be aware of this, is he ? Some thing need to be done for the sake of Spanish people in Boston.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I REGRET IGNOTING THE REVIEWS FROM GOOGLE! I AM AN AMERICAN CITIZEN AND I BROUGHT MY HUSBAND TO GET A VISA TO SPAIN TO CELEBRATE HIS BIRTHDAY IN LAS PALMAS SPAIN! I BOUGHT TICKETS AND BOOKED HOTEL! I UNFORTUNATELY I IGNORED THE BAD REVIEWS FROM GOOLGE AND WENT THERE TO APPLY FOR A VISA! THE WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! THE OLD LADY (WITCH) THAT APPROVE THE VISAS LET ME WAITING IN LINE FOR HALF AN HOUR AND THAN TOLD ME THAT SHE DIDN'T KNOW WHY I WAS STANDING IN LINE WAITING VERY SARCASTIC! AND THAN CALLED ME OVER! I LET THAT ONE GO... THAN THE THE RECEPTIONIST WAS VERY NICE AND TOOK MY PAPER WORK AND THAN THE "WITCH" CAME OVER AND SAID THAT SHE NEED EXTRA COPIES FOR ALL THESE PAPER WORK BESIDES THE COPIES I BROUGHT! SHE HAD ME WALKED AN HOUR AROUND BOSTON LOOKING FOR A COPY MACHINE! WHEN I GOT BACK SHE SAID VERY SARCASTIC! I ALSO NEED COPY OF HIS PASSPORT! MY BLOOD WAS BOILING AT THE TIME.... AND THE RECEPTIONIST FELT SO BAD THAT SHE WHISPERED AND SAID TO ME DON'T WORRY I WILL TAKE A COPY HERE! AND THAN ALL OF THE SUDDEN I HEAR THE "WITCH" SCREAMING AT THE POOR GIRL BECAUSE SHE TOOK THE COPY FOR ME...... AND I WENT AHEAD AND SAID SHE CLEARLY DON'T LIKE ME!... THAN THE "WITCH" CALLED US OVER AND SAID TO US THAT SHE NEEDED MORE PAPER WORK FROM US! WHICH IS NOT INDICATED IN THERE WEBSITE AS REQUESTED FORMS! WHICH CLEARLY SHE JUST WANTED TO MAKE US COME BACK AND GIVE US A HARD TIME! SO I DECIDED TO CANCELED THE HALL TRIP LOST SOME OF MY MONEY AND WHEN THE SECOND APPT AND REQUESTED MY HUSBAND'S PASSPORT... NO PROFESSIONALISM AT ALL! SHE DOES EVERYTHING SHE WANTED IN THIS PLACE AND NO ONE SAYS ANYTHING! I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THE HECK IS THE CONSULATE DOING THERE.......! I GUES HE IS SLEEPING ALL DAY IN HIS OFFICE.... I WILL NOT GO TO SPAIN EVEN IF I GET MY TRIP FOR FREE! IF YOU NEED A SCHECHEN VISA GO TO THE FRENCH EMBASSY THEY ARE PROFESSIONALS AND DEFINITELY THEY WENT TO SCHOOL!

This place is so unreliable I have been leaving emails and calling to renew my passport and they won’t return any of them very unprofessional and unacceptable. What do they get paid for?
