My Rolex was broken and they sent it out to get fixed. Really nice sales people, they gave me the price for sending it out for an estimate, and then once it came in they let me know how much it would cost before approving the work. I approved it and a couple weeks later my watch was in hand--again, the sales people were so nice and accommodating. My watch looked like new! It was an expensive fix, but worth it.
I took my new Rolex (the engagement present from my wife, which was bought in Spain) because it had some humidity in the inside but still worked perfectly. After analyzing the watch and making me a few questions, they told me that the worst scenario would imply paying a $600 to $700 bill. Although I thought it was somehow expensive, I thought that since I didn´t do anything wrong with it, Rolex would most likely take care of it (being the worst scenario $700).
A sales staff for the jewelry section was very rude. I told him several times that I am not interested in an engagement ring but he kept asking "why not?" and then became very impatient when I asked to see different kinds of selection. Rather than asking me what my preferences are, he kept suggesting what he thought looked good to him. Terrible service.
February, 2017. Killing time waiting for my wife and wandered into the store to browse. Told Raymond I was just looking and he was very professional saying: "Just ask me if you see something." Next thing I knew I brought my wife back and bought a Rolex! Don't remember why I didn't take it with me but a week later we arrived in FL and Raymond overnighted it to me. Then I ordered another item and it was promptly sent to me via FedEx. Excellent service and a great person to work with.
Therefore, I was a little bit surprised when they called me back 1 month later telling me that I had to pay approx. $3.5K to get the watch fixed. Obviously, I rejected the proposition and got the watch back a few days later. However, when I went to the shop to get my watch back they returned it to me not only in an awful shape (see image) but also not working at all. I will be meeting with the manager in a few days so I´ll update my post after that.
Extremely bad customer service. I was happy when I went in to get my Rolex fixed. They did a great job. But I brought back a friend who wanted his Rolex fixed, and the manager of the store was very rude to us. And he claimed that Rolex has stopped fixing watches! We then went to Braintree mall Rolex and were treated so well. We also got the watch sent in for repair.
Worst service ever.
