I normally love Marriott but this was by far the worst experience I've had. The reservation was messed up, delaying our check in. After a long drive from the airport due to traffic and trying to manage a cranky toddler, having to cope with the shortness and plain attitude of the person checking us in was more than I wanted or should have had to deal with. Add a room with cold air coming in through the window frame, outlets that didn't work/were too loose to hold a plug, and the fact that we were charged an insane amount because my husband's clothes smelled like smoke and supposedly left an odor in the room... if I ever return to Boston I will not be staying here again. Its truly disappointing, after more than a decade of traveling for work and staying in various hotels across the country, this was definitely not the experience I expected from a hotel chain so well known for superior service.
Nice clean modern hotel, looses some points for the small and over furnished room. There was a desk but when sitting at it, anyone else has to crawl across the bed. Also the view of the parking garage next door was not the best. Most staff were friendly.
Terrible hotel, rooms are tiny felt like a prison. Staff are unresponsive and won’t return calls or address cases open via member program. There plenty of other options in Boston best to avoid this one
They pack a lot in compact space. Only negative was that door to room would not open all the way as it would hit frame of sliding door for bathroom. They had great customer service. Hotel in the theater district and about a block away from border of Chinatown. Would recommend to others as well as come back again.
