Arguably one of the best small businesses in the city. Whether it be the food or the service, I haven't a single negative thing to say about them as a collective. If you ever order from here I highly suggest getting the turkey sub. I've had turkey subs from many other small businesses and none of them compare to AK's.
This is one of the smallest, busiest, most efficient restaurants we've ever visited. And spotless. With friendly service and delicious food. And incredible value: two eggs with your choice of meat, a mountain of crispy, perfectly seasoned home fries, 2 pieces of toast, a bottomless cup of delicious coffee. A pleasure for dining
The ambiance was terrific, our server gracious and helpful and the steaks had the best flavor of any steak I've ever had! The food came quickly and nothing was lacking.
for some reason i never went here because it just look like a same ol' kinda place. but then i went! and its way better than expected. The bacon cheeseburger with "everything on it" for 6$ is now my neighborhood staple.
We wanted to find a wonderful steak with a relaxed, yet refined atmosphere. AK's was definitely a great find! We enjoyed the service, menu selections, and drinks. The desserts were flavorful and big enough to share! I recommend the cheesecake and the chocolate cake.
