Amazing food for the price. You get soup or pasta with any entree and it's unlimited refills. I spent 14$ and got pasta with grilled chicken and unlimited minestrone soup. The waiters were welcoming and nice, but the entrees took a long time to come out. They may have been understaffed but it effected our overall experience. The neighbourhood in the area isn't the best so I wouldn't recommend walking in the area alone at night.
I was also served by a young lady who's first experience as a server was today,having worked in the kitchen for years,she did a great job her personality,and service was superb.
I got a to go order and honestly it is taking forever . The women at the To go counter is basically the ONLY REASON I STAYED AND WAITED. I FOUND EVERYONE ELSE RUDE. I ONLY GOT a child order of Fettuccine Alfredo seriously and it has taking about 40 minutes still waiting she has been putting all orders in bags as well as taking the orders in person and on the phone. She always was getting the beverages. While at least 3 other staff stood by and watched. So shout out to Lanika thank you for making my wait bearable and daughter I'm sure would also thank you lol she got to have her favorite lunch...also I found it a bit disturbing that they could not give me a bandaid . Saying they had none. What if someone cut themselves in the kitchen!!!
I'm giving 2 stars because the staff is friendly and the service was good, the food however, tastes like it should come from a drive-thru.

I have tried steaks in various restaurants,but I have never been able to get one I could be happy with ,today I tried your steak and I must say it's perfect,taste ,quality it was amazing.
Lyndell, our server, deserves the 5 stars for himself. I think that with franchises, the only thing that sets them apart is your experience in said restaurant. Price and food quality will always be similar no matter the location but the Olive Garden in Dorchester has a staff that seems genuinely concerned with the experience of their customers. Lindell our server is an exceptional part of the staff team. He was polite, helpful and attentive. He was apologetic as there was a slight mistake with our bill but he resolved it immediately with no problem. The staff themselves greeted us in and out the door, which made our visit to this Olive Garden above average easily. Thank you!
