There's so much good to say about the Museum of Science, so I'll stick to a couple high points:

So much fun, even if you've been there a lot. My favorite parts? The Theater of Electricity is always fun, but not great for little babies or small kids as it gets very loud when they zap the Faraday Cage. My family also likes the special display by museum employees of their personal collections. Always varied. Membership really pays off if you live local. Great place to take the kids, and easy to get to from the highway.

1. The planetarium is a really unique and fascinating experience, the programs the museum puts together do an excellent job explaining the why and how of space.

2. Many of the exhibits are hands on, and great for both kids and adults, being able to move things around and see the result as you do it makes science really come alive in a way that just reading and watching do not.

Wonderful science museum! Great view of the city from this location. Museum members get discounts on parking, gift shop, and food purchases. Many interactive exhibits make it fun and appropriate for small children, and for kids at heart. Interesting history of science exhibits are fun for science nerds. The planetarium is a museum highlight. The museum gets crowded later in the day, so plan to go early if you want to avoid the crowds.

Words cannot explain how much I absolutely love this Museum! There is so much to do for the children and you don't have to worry about them touching certain things because the museum is specifically for them to enjoy! I have been there about 3 times and I still have not seen the entire Museum! There is still so much to see and do and the light show or the electricity show is absolutely amazing! I could go there 20 times over and still amazed by how great this place is! You definitely have to go there!

One of the best science museums I've ever been to. The highlights for us were the electric show and the human body exhibit. It was all very hands on and the kids loved it! If you're local make sure you go to your library beforehand and pick up a pass. The pass makes tickets only $10 for library cardholders.
