The ferry runs every 15 min
It is an easy way to get back to long warf from Charleston.
Great way to get to the USD Constitution. Pleasant journey.
At the beginning of the launch deck there reads a sign that says, “please wait here at the top of the gateway until hailed by a member of the crew.” So what does everyone who is waiting in line do? They wait. What does the crew not do? They do not signal or “hail” to anyone—even though there was a crew member who was watching everyone on the launch deck. Instead of yelling out to everyone that the ship was leaving—the guy just let the ship leave without a single passenger aboard.
We took the ferry to the shipyard, saw a ship actively being worked on in dry dock and climbed 300 steps of the bunker hill memorial. Ferry ticket was included in price of the weekly public bus/ rail ticket from the airport. Ferry came every 30 minutes on weekdays. It's in the middle of other paid boat tours, with little to no signage. The 360 shows where to stand to catch it.
Easy, safe and friendly staff from start to finish
