Took forever to get an appointment and once you get an appointment they tell you the week before your appointment date so then you have to rush and book a last minute flight and find time off from work in order to go get your passport. Then once you get there they take away your cell phone for who knows what reason. Then they tell you your passport is going to arrive in 90 days and it never does. These people are all talk and no action. Some guy in a suit with a coffee mug shows up like 30 minutes after the place opens and gives you this bs speech and tries to answer your questions with canned answers that leave you more confused then when you walked in. Definitely easier to find another nationality if you need to renew your passport then coming here.
Dont believe their words because they're actions speak differently.

With great effort due to health issues, I got to my passport appointment on time and was able to complete all the requirements. Consulate personnel were very kind and cooperative and the whole process went very smoothly. Unfortunately, 5 months later I still have no news about my passport. Tried the web page, email, phone, nothing. I had a trip planned for July (reason why I started the process earlier) and had to cancel it. I'm posting this comment as a last resource.
This place is a scam pretty much took my money for the service and never gave me my passport.
Today was my appoitment. I waited almost 5 months to get it and honestly I was a little nervous that something bad could happen,but everything went very well!!. The staff super nice and helpful. I was impressed!!!! Everything in Venezuela should be like this. Very happy with my experience!
Went to the consulate to request my passport renewal back in March 16th 2017. I have yet to receive my passport and its been well past the 14week maximum (its been 40!! Weeks since I left my prints). I had my uncle who lives in the area ask what's been going on only to be redirected to the online portal. At the time the portal was constantly down and the server off. When it finally came back up it says its hasn't even begun being printed.
Outstanding Service! A young lady was so nice and proceeded to speedily attend my request. Very happy with it.
