New renovation of the building looks great and stuff is very helpful and kind.
I hate doctors so I never make appointments. I go once a year for my physical and then walk ins when I'm sick. I work with kids in their homes so I am exposed to more germs than your average human. I had an allergic reaction to something at the residence that caused my eye to become extremely swollen. I went in and saw a nurse. Right away he dismissed it and told me I would be fine. My eye was itchy. And no offense, but you're a nurse. I'm in nursing school so I know first hand never play the role of a doctor. What if something was wrong and you had told me nothing was? But he was brand new so I gave him a pass. He didn't even know how to turn on the thing that lights up that they check inside your eyes with. So he told me come back at 2 for an appointment. This is the part that's my fault. I was late. 35 minutues. But my swelling in my eye had gone down significantly so I didn't care. I still needed a doctors note. I didn't really need one because I work nights but I felt I was obligated to have one in case I did call out or something. The head nurse, her Nurse Rosado I believe, told the secretary no I could not get a note because I technically was not seen today *though I was seen by a nurse and have been given plenty of doctors notes under those same exact circumstances* I got frustrated and decided to sit there until I got one. She told the receptionist (her name is Alison) who LIED and told her I was yelling at her in front, to call security on me. Alison, I hope you're reading this! Alison was really really nice to me the entire time and I made sure to mention that to Nurse Rosado, but then Nurse Rosado told me on the phone when I called her (because I did call her to ask her why she refused to give me a doctors note or see me) that Alison had told her I was swearing at the staff, yelling, and making a scene. Hand to God, I was doing. I such thing on the premises. Do you see how unprofessional the staff is? Gossiping about patients. That's basically slander, because it wasn't true. I'm sure they have cameras, there's evidence. So I had a very volatile conversation with Rosado on the phone and in less than 5 minutes I got a doctors note.
I live 30 minutes driving, an hour and thirty by T, away from this God-foresaken establishment. I still come here because I have been a patient here since I was born. I'm 20 now. So 20 years. And you're going to deny me a doctors note though I was seen? 20 years my insurance company has been funneling money into your horrible corrupt organization and this is the treatment I get from HEAD NURSE ROSADO? Really? I had to fight for a doctors note. No one really, truly wanted to help me. Or even tried. This really fat, ugly, lazy, pot-bellied guy who sits in the front like he is the king of Mattapan simply told me, "I don't make the rules." We'll find someone who DOES. You are a receptionist. Receiver me. Be hospitable. Like I feel I was treated so u fairly and poorly. The nurse that saw me earlier in the morning did not advocate for me at all. The receptionist didn't tell the head nurse I had been seen by a nurse though I repeated this to her several times. I will be done with them very soon. They know nothing about customer service or hospitability. It's disheartening a place of healthcare would be so inconsistent with policy, unprofessional, and unorganized.
The workers are extremely immature and do not know how to conduct themselves in a professional level when it comes to the patients ( public service). I think the issue is hiring too many young people are not properly trained or held to a higher level no tolerance. The reason I say this is be a I have ran into Nurses and Secretaries who's behavior is disturbing and argumentative! This kind of service is unacceptable and needs to be fully looked into! I am in the process of switching my care and the children's care elsewhere.
My son and I both go there . Their very kind hearted who comes to the health center .
It had been quite some time since I'd been to the dentist due to past unpleasant experiences at a dental school. Due to my financial woes I have been very limited with Dental options. My daughter has been a patient here for years and in thought I'd Guv then a try. I was pleasantly surprised by all the work I had done. I'd like to acknowledge everyone from the front desk to the x-rays performed by Sean, hygienist Milano and last but not least the very pleasnt and prifessuinal Dr. Kamil. Thank you for your care
I did not want to write a review but here I am at work and getting upset thinking about my experience today. As a disclaimer, I do take partial blame for the situation. I'm gonna make it short and sweet.
The real reason they did not want to give me a note is because I was a walk in Who was given an appointment and then proceeded to be late to that appointment. They felt that they had done me a favor and in turn I did them a disservice by showing up at 2:35. Mind you the lady who answered when I called and said I would be late told me to just not come at all.
