option for no stars? went there to get a simple appraisal on my engagement ring. within moments - without even cleaning the ring first- was told that there was a huge chunk missing out of my diamond and that I should put in a claim with my insurance to have it replaced and start looking at loose diamonds. after leaving there in tears, I visited another jeweler (who cleaned the ring and then examined it) and was assured the diamond was in PERFECT condition. it became apparent that longs was looking to make a buck rather than provide HONEST service. Consumer BEWARE.

I am absolutely in love with the LONG'S store near me in Peabody. My husband and I came here after doing some research, as I was ready to upgrade my diamond ring years ago. Since then we have purchased an absolutely breathtaking ring. I highly recommend going here if you are looking for quality diamonds, fantastic customer care, and honest & knowledgable jewelers. I can honestly say that I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Long's jewelers has restored my faith in humanity. My brother in law was set to be married this June but his fiancée passed away unexpectedly. They had purchased their wedding bands through Long's. A family member explained to them what happened and they offered their condolences and refunded/didn't charge for the rings/work done. In a world where money seems to control every decision made it is humbling to see that there are still good people in this world. An act of grace like this will be the reason all jewelry purchases in the future done by our large family will be made at Long's. My hat goes off to you.
Had a Rolex for sale on and was contacted on arrival, I was intercepted by a cranky old man who seemed to be upset that the deal was not made by him and proceeded to find nonsensical excuses to not purchase it. Including insinuating the bracelet may not be original which he knows is not true. Wasted 40 minutes of driving each way. Sketchy all the way around
