A historical place that exhibits the original housing style on Beacon Hill. Very detailed and well organized tour.
It was really cool to see all these house and hear about the history. The walking gets to you but it’s worth it specially with an upbeat tour guide
Fantastic tour of this absolute gem...unchanged since the Gibson's turned it into a museum...is like they have just stepped out the house. Informative guide and a rare opportunity to see what home life was like in Boston for the well to do families of Back Bay. Well worth a visit and the $9 entrance fee for adults.
Fascinating time-capsule museum, a perfectly preserved window into life in Boston's Back Bay at the turn of the last century. Guided tours take about an hour and cost $9 which goes towards upkeep of this stately old mansion, but because of the way everything has been left undisturbed over the years, it literally feels like the inhabitants have just stepped out for a bit and could return at any moment.
They put together a really good tour here, the guides are very knowledgable and if they don't know something they take your email address, do reserach, then email you with notes.
