I didn't even know it was located so close. Interesting place to visit

Is a really interesting place to bring the children

A building designed by Alden Frink for Aaron Davis Williams, in the high Victorian Gothic style, Abbotsford, now the Museum for the National Center of African-American artists's was once used as a disciplinary school for boys.

This museum is amazing. If you want to know the real, true roots of African Americans, this is where to go or atleast to start off from. The fact that this NCAAA is in a black community is exactly what separates it from other African American museums; it gives the minorities a chance to actually learn about their ancestors through art and creativity. I wish the best for this place and the wonderful, yet wise man who owns it!!! Visiting the Museum of NCAAA is a must!
