Due to a long wait, the front desk employee rushed me through the signature portion of the rental process and explained that my initials would verify that I would be WAIVING the Collision Damage Waiver. She then had to restart the process due to a system malfunction. Once rebooted, she then told me to initial the same as last time since the agreements this time were the same. I trusted her, signed the agreements, and now regret giving her my trust. I received my bill with an extra $115.00 of unexpected insurance charges. Then, I called the "customer service" line and made a service case about this situation. The outsourced customer service agents were condescending, disrespectful and the opposite of helpful. I was on hold for upwards of 30 minutes and spoken to as if I was a child. The customer comes last with this group. This company has a lot of making up to do before they receive business from me or my company again.

Easy online booking. Great pricing. Simple upgrade options. Easy to locate at Logan Airport. Wonderful and quick service at desk. Car pre rental inspection well organized. Overall a marvellous experience.
I had a horrible experience with Payless Rentals that left me without a car at midnight last night. The staff at Advantage were incredibly helpful. They were able to get me a car with no reservation where all the other rental car services couldn't. Although the price was obviously higher than I would have liked, being able to get anything at all was amazing. The woman at the counter was very nice, kmowledgeable, and sympathetic. I highly recommend them.
BEWARE. When they ask you to opt out of their "programs," they conveniently forget to mention that by declining, they'll stick you with a $25 service charge every time you drive on an unmanned toll road. Read your rental agreement carefully and don't get scammed like I did. I spent hours going back and forth between Advantage customer service and the Highway Toll Agency and neither was able to explain to me how I could sort out these charges. I finally got a hold of Voice of the Customer, who were more helpful but no less rude. Stay far away from Advantage. Pay a little more to go with a company who won't try to swindle you.
